Sizing

All feet are very different, so fitting a foot into a fixed shape foot cavity of moulded flexible material is an inexact science. We do not compare our fin sizes to shoe sizes as the construction of fins and shoes are very different.

We have tried to give you enough information to guide you to make an informed decision on the best size for your feet.

Please note that each of our fin models has its own mould, so sizes may vary between models. Original training fin, Elite II and Repellor fins are a universal foot, meaning you can wear either fin on either foot, also giving you a wider foot cavity. Our Elite and Elite MAX are specific left and right foot fit. 

The sizing on our website is a 'Guide' only.

1: Check Length – Stand on a piece of paper against a wall and put a dot in front of your big toe, and a dot at the back of your heel.

2: Measure the distance between front and back dots. This should be the length of your foot.

3: Ask yourself if you like your fins to fit snug, or not. Allow +/- 2-3 mm in length for your ideal comfort.

TIP:    If you’re still not sure, then order 2 pairs and then return the pair that doesn’t fit, for a refund on the cost of the returned item.

RETURNS

We accept returns of unused and undamaged fins. Returns are usually as a result of incorrect sizing. All feet are very different, so fitting a foot into a fixed shape foot cavity of moulded flexible material is an inexact science. Whilst our fins do not correlate directly to shoe sizes as the construction of fins and shoes are very different, we do suggest a close-to shoe size as a secondary size guide.

Please note that each of our fin models has its own mould, so sizes may vary between models. Original training fin, Elite II and Repellor fins are a universal foot, meaning you can wear either fin on either foot, also giving you a wider foot cavity. Our Elite and Elite MAX are specific left and right foot fit.

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. We will gladly accept returns for items purchased through dmcfins.com within 30 days of the original purchase date. 

Fins must be returned in a clean, saleable condition, with original tags and packaging, to be eligible for a refund. 

To submit an item/s for return, please register on our returns page.

We cannot accept returns of Soft Surf Helmets, Swim Caps, or Goggles for hygiene reasons. Please check Helmet sizing carefully. Sizing instructions can be found on each SSH Model page.

Only items purchased directly through dmcfins.com may be returned to our warehouse. Items purchased through our retail partners must be returned to the place of purchase and are subject to the return policies of the retail partner.

Once your return is received and approved, a refund will be applied to the original card or method of purchase.

Please note that refund delays may occur as card issuer processing times vary greatly, something we are unable to influence.

We do not process exchanges.

We do not issue return labels.

There are many factors outside of our control which determine how long your order will take, such as ongoing transportation staffing shortage due to covid and flu.

Domestic Shipping Times:

• Orders usually take 1 - 4  business days to be delivered to you and we ship within 1 - 2 business days.
• Shipping time might vary depending on location, shipment method and other factors.

Domestic & International Shipping cost:

• Orders will be charged for shipping depending on your orders weight and destination. Full price will be displayed at checkout. 

Simply add as many items as you wish to your shopping cart while browsing our store. Once you want to proceed with the order - do so by going to the cart and clicking "checkout". Follow the instructions by providing us with delivery information and select payment method the for goods - we will ship your package within 1 business days.

WARRANTY

DMC Fins are warranted against manufacturing faults for 90 days from date of purchase.

DMC fins are not warranted against misuse, or damage from sharp objects. Please adhere to care instructions.

Care Instructions:

• Sharp fingernail can create a tear in our soft Siliform material. Please be careful when putting your fins on. Push them onto your foot prior to pull the heel strap back.
• Always rinse in fresh water after use in salt water 
• Keep out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods
• Keep off hard surfaces
• Avoid sharp objects like rocks or reef

We reserve the right to refund, replace or credit goods if deemed a result of faulty manufacture.
